Microteaching

 On the basis of the demonstration of microteaching we got, each and every student has to select two skills for the microlesson. For selected skill we have to write a microteaching lesson plan concerned to the components of the skill we have taken for the microteaching. 

I selected skill pf stimulus variation and the skill of illistrating with examples. For the skill of stimulus variation I selected the topic from class 8 physics, contact and non contact forces. For illustrating with examples I selected inertia as the topic. It was a nice experience to learn a single skill at a time. 

Women's Day Celebrarion

 Women's day was celebrated on our college on 09 March 2023 .

Social visit

As a part  of B.Ed curriculum,wee 1st year students visited a social Institute in Punalur, Deena Bhavan 

Deena Bhavan located near to the punalur hanging bridge, famous spot in punalur. 

The working of the institution is under the Missionaries of Charity, headquarters in Kolkata. We group of Physical Science and the natural science students  and Sheeja miss reached there at 9:15 a.m. the place he is really calm and quiet. Currently there are fifty inmates, there also included females with psychic problems. 

Deena Bhavan in punalur started on 30. 01.1999, at that time  there was male and female inmates. from 2001, this place was changed to a shelter for females.

There were inmates from different states of India, some of them are hindi speaking, and some tamil people were there. Every one was really energetic and they joined us in programs,and they sang for us,they danced with us. We spent some good time with them and after 11:45 they were taken for food. At that time the social worker,Devu told us about the history and daily activities and everything about Deena Bhavan and  then we took photos with mother. 

Work experience

Leadership Training workshop

 A leadership training workshop was held in our college on 03.03.2023.Sri John sir was the resource person for the leader ship training program. He was really nice and coordinating person. Sir interacted with everyone and combined everyone by making us into several groups. And then every activities were done in between the groups. 

Flag making was a fun and edutainment activity held in the training program. And then selected a winner group for flag making and presentation. And our group, group number 8 , got a third price for the speech we prepared for the flag presentation. 

It was a really nice experience. 

Microteaching Demonstration

For understanding how to take a microteaching lesson and how to get to know about several skills in microteaching. Every skill and subskill were explained by the one who taught the lesson. For every lesson there should be a group of students from our side, to act like students for the microteaching lessons. 

The demonstration class given as  idea about how microteaching teacher should be like. It was a nice experience to get to know with microteaching and microteaching Cycle. 

Institution visit

  As a part of psychology practical we visited Light to Blind School, Varkala, Thiruvananthapuram, on 01.03.2023. The students where do. Journey started at the 8:00 a.m. in two buses full stop the destination around at 10:00 a.m.

They arranged an interactive section with us and the head of the institution talked with us. The teachers shared  how they train these students in there learning also shows  the methods to teach them. Demonstrated how the students read a Textbook do arithmetic etc. 

Attend of the indirect section we asked some questions regarding to the learning procedure of the students and the teachers and sir very politely. We were gave some gifts to the students and spend some time with them.
