Subject Association Inauguration

Inauguration of subject  was conducted on 18th November 2022 at 2 p.m.The programme was inaugurated by Sudarshan sir, poet and activist. Shivapriya teacher about the objectives of this subject Association. We got to know about the importance of subject Association in a college. Principle Roy sir welcomed everyone to the occasion.Talked about the importance of curricular and extra curricular activities in a college. 

Blog creation Workshop

 To know about what is blog and to aware about what the purpose, our college conducted blog creation workshop by KS Harilal sir on 16 November 2022. The session started at 9:45 a.m. Harilal sir talked about  different kind of bloggs and he taught us to how to create a blog. The main objective of the blogg creation workshop were to know about what is blog, usage of blog, to know about type of blog , to know about how to create a blog and the steps involving in blog creation the also to know how to upload photo links in the blog.

It was  a very helpful workshop with effective the workshop help us to know about blog and creation of blog. It was really a different experience Harilal sir taught us in joyful way so that we we got to know about the concept very clearly. We learn how to create a blog and we created a blog. Section was really enjoyable and imparting knowledge. 

College Day

 College day celebration and college magazine relase was held on 10th November 2022 by college Union.The day started with prayer. Roy sir welcomed everyone . College Union chairman gave the presidential address. The session was inaugurated and magazine released by Deepu Navayikkulam, Asianet comedy stars fame. He interacted with us and performed few programmes. Cultural programme started in the afternoon section, there was music show led by Bala Prasad and team. That was really a feast to all of us. 

It was really a good experience to know how the union conducted a programme very effectively. We enjoyed a lot.

School Induction🎒📚

 As apart of first year B Ed curriculum, five day school induction programme was conducted by our college from 31.10.2022 to 04.11.2022. There were 23 schools in the program. Students arranged into 23 groups. We group of 6 people,  selected Government High School pooyappalli for this school induction programme.The main objective of the school induction programs was, to provide the student teacher an opportunity to have primary experience with the functioning of school, meeting the students informally to know their interest and background in learning, observing the social climate of the school, to acquaint with the school environment and day today functioning of the school. 

The five days at school  literally gave us different experience as a teacher or student teacher. We got to know about the nature of students, school, teachers, etc. After the five day programme, reflection section was arranged at college, coordinated by Riju sir. Everyone from the 23 groups had to participate in the reflection section. Each and everyone shared their own experiences and memories. They also shared the achievements as well as drawbacks of their respective school. Reflection section lasted for 3 days. 

Freshers Day

 Freshers day was conducted by our senior batch with a purpose of entertainment.The programme held on 21.10.22. Seniors welcomed us in a different way. A full day programme in which seniors arranged so many interactive segments with us. Principal Roy Sir, other teachers, Rev. Fr. Jacob were present at the seminar hall, where the programme was conducted. 

Seniors gave us fun tasks, we were enjoyed it fully. I got a chance to perform thiruvathira with a tamil song in the background. They arranged food for us. The afternoon session continued with department basis music competition. The programme ended at 5.00 pm with powerful dance session by all the students. 

Inauguration of the course (2022-'24)

  B Ed 2022-'24 batch was officially started on 19th September 2022.The official course inauguration was held at seminar hall.The programme was started at 10.00 am with a prayer section by Rev. Fr. Jacob, local manager of Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Training college. Principal Roy sir , Riju sir, Vineeth sir and other optional teachers were present in the inaugural function.Riju sir welcomed everyone to the occasion. Principal, respected Roy sir, addressed the audience and wished everyone a good start as B Ed trainees. Rev. Fr. Jacob addressed and interacted with us. 

The inauguration section ended at 1.00 pm.
