FIELD TRIP

Field trips are one of the effective tool for providing first hand experience to the students so it necessary to include in the curriculum for an effective learning. Be the first year student of B.Ed we got an opportunity to visit some of the places in Trivandrum on 16th December 2022. The students are divided in the two groups of 56 and 51 in numbers. First group included English Malayalam and maths optionals in the second group physical science social science and natural science. We opted Jawaharlal Nehru tropical botanic Garden and Research Institute palode for natural science , The Kerala state Science and Technology Museum and Planetarium for social science and Physical Science optionals.

The visit gave a wonderful experience, and we got an opportunity to know more about science technology nature astronomy etc . And it should be shown to students as well when they learn this concepts so they can understand it clearly by seeing and experience it in a real time scenario.

Got the chance to experience some of the science concepts by its working models examples. Newton cradle, the working of Newton cradle explained by law of conservation of mass. Like this many other working models and still models were there.
