Cultural visit

 As a part of Kerala university B. Ed. Curriculum, we first year B. Ed. Students visited a cultural place, kottarakkara kathakali museum on 28th february 2023. Students were grouped on the basis of department, allowed their time and visited accordingly to the schedule. We the students of physical science department were the first one to start the visit. We visited at 10.00 am. 

Kottarakkara is a place which contibuted lot to the art form kathakali. 

Science day celebration

 Science day was celebrated on 28 February 2023 in the college seminar hall by the students of physical Science and natural science department. The Science Day celebration was started with an exhibition conducted by both physical science and the natural science department. The students were allowed to enter the exhibition halls at 1:30 p.m. and everyone enjoyed the exhibition.

Science Day celebration was started at 2:00 p.m. in the college seminar hall. There were games arranged for the students and also treasure hunt. Everyone participated in the puzzle game and the Treasure Hunt and they enjoyed the section. 

Supw

A workshop of Socially Useful Productive Work was held on college on 27 th February 2023. The students were grouped into different categories based on the materials going to make during the section. There was file, carry bag, lotion and soap making. So the students were grouped into four. We got an experienced former teacher as our resource person on that workshop, Mr. Mohanlal sir. Sir told us the importance and need of SUPW in the curriculum. 

First section started was the making of paper file. The students allotted to those were interacted with the resource person and followed his instructions. Then they started the making of carry bag. It was a nice experience. It was also a fun entertainment to make carrybag with everyone. In the afternoon section  the students prepared lotion and soap. 

Games

 As a part of the practical of first semester the games were organised on 24 February 2023,Friday. The games started at 10 a.m. All the students in the college where divided into 3 houses named Garuda, Vajra, Astra . Physical science department he was in the Vajra team. 

Mainly the games - badminton, chess, Carroms. 

The day started with Badminton game and in the in this game there are several types, that is, singles, doubles, mixed. It was actually a nice experience to play a game in a sportsman spirit to accept the loss and successes. 

The end of the game section physical education sir Mr Lal announce the winner team and their points and also announce the points of each team and the dispersed section. 

Malayalam Day celebration

Under the leadership of malayalam department, Malayalam day celebration was held on our college on February 21.They conducted some of the programs related with malayalam, on the department basis. 

The programs were really engaging as well as entertaining ones. They also conducted programs including M. Ed students,that was really fun.

The  students from the Malayalam department represented a small part of poothappatt from Idasseri Govindannair as a skit form. It was really worth watching. 

ASSOCIATION

 Subject association program of physical science department was held on 07.02.2023,  Tuesday in the college seminar hall at 2 pm. The program was started with prayer. Vineeth sir, the head of the physical science department welcomed everyone to the association program. The logo of the association program was released by Roy sir, principal. 

The association program started with games,  every students participated in the games. There are games such as identifying person, coordinating pictures to words, correcting mismatched letters into correct words etc. 

For each of the game, we selected a winner. Then the program ended at 3.45 pm. 

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION

 Republic Day celebration was held in our college on 28 January 2023 saturday by college Union. The main program was quiz competition, each and every one participated in the competition with competitive mind. A very students teachers where participated in the competition. It was really a nice experience. 

Then the students arranged in a shape in front of the college area and took photos.
