Camp

      As a part of B.Ed curriculum a community living camp was conducted in Baselios Marthoma Mathews || Training College Kottarakara from March 9-13. The theme of the camp was Voice of Resistance. It was a 5 day program.

Such camps are highly desirable to develop leadership qualities, cooperative spirit and acquire organizational skills for teachers who are training tomorrow's generation.

Classes, interactive programs and art performances led by experts in the fields of art, culture and education are being staged over the course of five days.

DAY 01

 Community living camp 'PRATHIDWANI'  was conducted  from 9th march to 13th march 2024. Before camp, teacher trainees was divided into four groups and given duties. I was a member of the second group 'Pallavas'. First day, 9th March was started by flash mob. Then flag was hosted by our principal Riju sir. Theme ' voice of resistance ' was presented by Harikrishnan R S, delegate, Speak of India. Then inauguration ceremony started. Honourable finance minister K N Balagopal inaugurated the community living camp. Kadammanitta Vasudevan Pillai addressed keynote. The main point of Kadammanitta Sir was nyum njanalle during keynote address. On this day, our duty was cleaning and beautification. All members of our group done the duties given. Then on evening session, Sreekuttan S, research scholar about new Malayalam films and growth of films. Also there was an question and answer session were trainees asked questions. After that there was an game session. Then Abhilash Mohanan deputy editor of Manorama news spoken about media's freedom and resistance. Also there was an question-answer section where teacher trainees asked questions. The day 1 of camp was ended around 5: 30 pm .

DAY 02

 Day 2 of community living camp was started around 9:30 am. Theme of day 2 was voice of shadows. The program was started from mime 'UNTAMED' regarding women empowerment. Vidhu Vincent, film director and Kerala state film award winner done the inaugural address. There was Q & A section. After this section, there was self defense class from women cell, Kerala police. It was a wonderful for us. They taught as basic exercise and self defense techniques. in the afternoon session, there was Magician Dr. Edakkidam Santhakumar's class. Then he told as about how we can inculcate magic in education and performed magic. Then around 4 :20 pm, there was programme Fancy dress competition about inspiring women from cinema for celebrating feminism. There was seven partcipants from my group. I also participated in the competition as the character in the movie Uyare.On that day, our group was on organisation and we coordinated everything. After the programme of fancy dress, day 2 of camp was ended around 5: 30 pm.

DAY 03

From day 3 onwards, we stayed on the college. Community living camp of day 3 was started around 9: 30 am. The theme of day 3 was voice of resilience. Morning session was an IQ mastery class by Aji R, IQ man of India. He told as how to memorize and we can learn the memorization technique in 40 days. Then there was Q & A section. Around 12 :15 pm, there was session ' Talk with MLA'. Session was handled by Pramod Narayanan MLA. He told about his new project 'knowledge village' in Ranni and he welcomed us to join in his project. Then there was an Q & A section. Then in afternoon session, there was programme 'Thrillorama' from Kiran Bodhi. He told that there should innovations in education. That was programme was ended around 5 : 00 pm. After fresh up, there was a musical concert by Noodlez band. It was ended around 9 : 10 pm. Then camp fire started and also given instruction about tour in next day. Camp fire ended around 12 : 00 am. 

DAY 04

Theme of day 4 was masakali. We started the trip for wonderla on 4 :30 am from the college. We eat breakfast on Cherthala around 9 :00 am. We arrived at wonderla around 11:00 am. In morning, we gone in land rides like aerospace, racing cars,... Around 1 :15 pm, we gone to eat lunch in valley view restaurant in wonderla. In afternoon, we gone in water rides. We gone in waves restaurant for eating snacks. Around 6 :00 pm, we came out of wonderla. Then around 7 : 45 pm, we gone to eat dinner. After eating, we gone to Lulu mall around 9 :00 pm. After one and half year, we came out of Lulu mall. We arrived at 3:00 am morning in the school.

DAY 05

Theme of day 5 was hasta la vista. All of us was waked up in 7 : 00 am. At 10 : 00 am, there was news preparation and presentation. After lunch, there was reflection session of camp. There was drama by Kerala police department under Janamaithri project around after that. It was an wonderful drama about women empowerment. Then the concluding session of the camp was held around 3 :30 pm. The session was inaugurated by Municipality chairman, S R Ramesh. The keynote address was given by Dr Noufal N. .  . And about 5 the session ended..

Musical strategy workshop

 Musical strategy workshop was held in our college .  First the students were divided into groups based on the optional class , and we have to make a song based on our optional subject . We made a song about carbon and it was based on the tune of Malayalam folk song , pallivalu bhadra vattakam. 

The class was really fun and we all enjoyed it . The most important part was the press of the song everyone made Accor to their subjects . 

Weekend reflection 10

 After completing 10 weeks in school or first teaching practice was completed so it’s time to reflect the positive negative improvement changes et cetera to our friends. The session was conducted to share all the experience to the other end. The week reflection was conducted on 29 January 2024 at the general seminar Hall in the presence of our teacher. Praveena Miss. At first, the representative from SKVHSS Thrikkannamangal Hello Hari came forward to share his experience. Karthika is Ravi from SNMHSS Elampallooor , Kavya, TK from KNMVHSS ,Anu from DVVHSS, Sandra from krist Raj, ashna from Saint Marys Adoor, Aiswarya from GHSS Padamnilam Share their experiences about final day at school and the feedback received from the students

Jinsha from MAMMHSS Megha from MGHS ,Sajin and Megha from Saint George VHS S, Fatima represented Martoma HS Arumurikkada Share their experiences.Then from GHS Pooyappally, myself represented and shared my experiences.

Weekly Reflection 10

 This was the tenth week and the last week of our first phase teaching practice . They arranged an assembly to congratulate the winners and the participants of the state youth festival. At that day. I conducted achievement test done in the next day the other day we conducted health classes and then in the last day we distributed prices for the poster making competition winners.

Weekend reflection 9

 It was a reflection session of our ninth weekend of first phase teaching practice. The reflection was conducted on option basis or option or reflection was conducted in the presence of our teacher Shamna.

At first Sona from GPVHSS, Perumkulam Shared her experience as a teacher training after that Abhirami from AEPMHSS , Asif from St George, VHSS Megha from MTHS valakom shared their experiences.

Then myself from GHS Puyale share my experience from the past week Abiya from MAMHSS, Annu from DVHSS shared their experiences . It was a delightful experience to listen everyone opinions. Everyone had different experiences and positive as well as negative feedbacks and experiences. So it was really a helpful session to understand each other’s feelings.
